Macadamia Nut Oil

A nourishing and repairing marvel.

Background
The Macadamia is a large tropical tree, known above all for its little round nut with a very delicate taste and high oil content. Native to the forests of Australia, the Macadamia is now cultivated mainly in Hawaii and on Kenyan plateaus.

Its traditional properties
The Macadamia nut has been known in Aboriginal medicine for thousands of years by virtue of the great treasure it contains, a softening and repairing oil that is particularly rich in unsaturated fatty acids.

NUXE expertise
Macadamia Oil is obtained by cold-pressing the ground nuts. Very light and non-greasy, it is characterised by its fatty acid composition close to that of sebum, an oily substance naturally produced by the skin to protect it from drying out, together with harsh external factors. Macadamia Oil also works wonders on dry and uncomfortable skin.

Our ecologically responsible approach.
NUXE has selected a Macadamia Oil obtained from cold-pressing of the nuts. NUXE has selected Macadamia nuts from Guatemala and other countries, which are mostly cultivated using environmentally-friendly methods.
